Who are the Friends?
The Friends of the Fobes Memorial Library, Inc. is a private, non-profit volunteer organization that aims to promote and help support the library and its programs. We are guided by the Director of the Library and the Trustees of the Library in its needs and are proud to be of service to this worthy institution.
What do Friends do?
The Friends of the Fobes Memorial Library host an annual meeting each January, plus additional meetings as needed to review our goals, offer ideas, and act in the best interests of the library. We organize fundraisers, sponsor programs, and support the library in any way that we can. Officers are elected every two years and consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Volunteers work under the direction of the Library Director. All volunteers who work directly with children need a CORI check.
The Friends group is always welcoming new members. If you would like to learn more or become a Friend, please email [email protected]
