   Message From The Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Oakham Police Department, I am pleased to welcome you to our site.  Our site has been developed to provide you with timely information on the Department.  The Department employs 2 full-time officers, 8 part-time officers and 5 reserve officers.  We respond to calls 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

As part of our commitment to the concepts of community policing, the Department continually seeks ways to make it's officers more effective and efficient by having officers enforce the law in a fair and equitable manner, use discretion when applicable and respond to all the needs of the community when they arise.
