OAKHAM BOARD OF ASSESSORS  /  PUBLIC NOTICE

 

THE OAKHAM BOARD OF ASSESSORS HAS COMPLETED THE FISCAL YEAR 2017 RECERTIFICATION OF VALUES. THE PROPOSED NEW ASSESSMENTS ARE BASED ON VALID FAIR MARKET SALES FOR OAKHAM FOR CALANDAR YEARS; LAST HALF OF 2014, ALL OF 2015; AND THE FIRST HALF OF 2016.

 

TAX PAYERS CAN REVIEW THE PROPOSED NEW ASSESSMENTS AT THE OAKHAM TOWN HALL LOCATED AT 2 COLDBROOK ROAD NOVEMBER 7-14 2016 MONDAY, TUESDAY, AND FRIDAY 10 AM TO 2 PM, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 9 AM TO NOON.

CodeRED is a Community Notification System that allows the RRECC and local public safety/government officials to send out emergency and non-emergency information to any phone line (cellular or landline), text messages, emails, and smart phone push notifications to our residents and businesses.  Known commonly as a “reverse 9-1-1 system,” CodeRED has an important place in our communities as a means to quickly alert people to serious situations such as severe weather, evacuation notices, missing children, crime alerts, etc.
