The Town Treasurer serves as the Town's cash manager, maintaining custody of all municipal funds. The Treasurer is responsible for all deposits, investments and disbursements of the funds.
On a bi-weekly schedule, the Treasurer processes the Town payroll and prepares checks to pay departmental bills.
The Treasurer maintains the Tax Title accounts and pursues the foreclosure of unpaid tax accounts.
The Treasurer is elected for a three year term.
